So, yeah, turns out Kim Kardashian is not best pleased with her youngest daughter's name, despite it being just over half a year since she picked it. The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star argued that the name was too long and that it just didn't flow. I mean, we could have told you that before you decided on the name, Kim. Instead, the mum-of-three has decided to shorten the name to 'Chi', pronounced "shy", and keep that as her unofficial name for now. When she first came out I was like, what do we name her? It was the hardest decision ever and I could not think of a name." She discussed some of the other name options they had for baby Chi. One option was Rei, after Kanye's dad, or Jo for Kim's grandmother, Mary Jo. But Kim insisted that when she was born she just didn't look like either a Rei or a Jo. Kim K has also given Chi an unofficial middle name. "I haven't really been into middle names but it's like, I really wanted a name that was short. A one syllable name. Noel is my middle name and it's not a one syllable name but it's short. "Like, I love the name Noel. Kanye does not. We can definitely get on board with that. Kim also shared her worries about forming a bond with her youngest child. "I was so nervous that having a surrogate I would lose that connection." But she insists that Chi is like her twin and that the two have a very strong bond. Well, we hope Chi forms a similar bond to her new name. It's definitely unique.
