Ozzy Osbourne passed away on July 22nd
Kelly Osbourne has broken her silence following the death of her father, Ozzy Osbourne.
The singer sadly passed away at the age of 76 on Tuesday, July 22nd.
The singer performed a farewell show with his band Black Sabbath just two weeks before he died.
The farewell concert was particularly special for the family as Kelly Osbourne got engaged at the show. Kelly's partner, Sid Wilson, who is the keyboardist for Slipknot, proposed in front of Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne and their extended family.
Kelly and her father shared an incredibly special bond and even released a cover of Black Sabbath's song Changes together in 2003.
In a poignant tribute on Instagram, Kelly shared the opening lyrics from the song.
"I feel unhappy I am so sad. I lost the best friend I ever had."
This is the first time Kelly has spoken publicly since the heartbreaking loss of her father.
A spokesperson for the family confirmed Ozzy passed away surrounded by his loved ones.
"It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning. He was with his family and surrounded by love."
