Justin Bieber has left fans devastated this morning after he posted a heartbreaking announcement to say that he would be cancelling the remainder of his Justice world tour.
Set to play Dublin's 3Arena on February 28th and March 2nd next year, Justin has now decided to take a step back and focus on his health. While some dates have been cancelled, those with tickets to the show in Dublin received an email to say these gigs have been postponed - but an alternative date is yet to be set.
It was only a matter of months ago that he was forced to cancel some US and Canadian dates due to his
Ramsay Hunt Syndrome diagnosis, and it is still having and impact now. Justin also postponed tour dates at the start of the year after he contracted Covid-19.
"Earlier this year, I went public about my battle with Ramsay-Hunt Syndrome, where my face was partly paralyzed. As a result of this illness, I was not able to complete the North America leg of the Justice Tour," Justin wrote in a statement.
"After resting and consulting with my doctors, family and team, I went to Europe in an effort to continue with the tour. I performed six live shows, but it took a real toll on me.
"This past weekend, I performed at Rock in Rio and I gave everything I have to the people in Brazil. After getting off stage, the exhaustion overtook me and I realized I need to make my health the priority right now."
He continued: "I've been so proud to bring this show and our message of Justice to the world."
"Thank you for your prayers and support throughout all of this! I love you all passionately!"
This is not the first time he has cancelled a tour, as the
Canadian heartthrob was forced to end his Purpose Stadium Tour earlier in 2017 due to exhaustion.
Justin has been unlucky when it comes to health problems over the last few years, as he was diagnosed with Lyme disease and chronic mono in 2020, as well as suffering from anxiety and depression.
