Dannii Minogue referred to Russell Brand as "completely crazy"

A past Dannii Minogue interview has resurfaced after multiple women have accused Russell Brand of alleged rape and sexual assault. In a resurfaced clip, the singer refers to the comedian as a "vile predator". The allegations against Brand were revealed in Channel 4's Dispatches. The broadcaster launched an investigation into the comedian with The Sunday Times and The Times. Four women bravely came forward during the investigation and claimed that Brand raped, sexually assaulted, and emotionally abused them over a seven-year period. It was 17 years ago when Dannii Minogue told The Mirror that Brand "always goes a step too far". Minogue also said he never takes no for an answer. She told the publication: "He is completely crazy and a bit of a vile predator. I certainly don’t think he has cured his sex addiction, that’s for sure." "He wouldn’t take no for an answer. He always goes that step too far," she continued. "Never quite far enough to slap his face, but usually too far," Minogue shared.

Russell Brand has denied all allegations.

In a video posted to social media, he said: "There are witnesses whose evidence directly contradicts the narrative that these two mainstream media outlets are trying to construct, apparently, in what seems to me to be a coordinated attack." "Now, I don't wanna get into this any further because of the serious nature of the allegations, but I feel like I'm being attacked and plainly they're working very closely together," he continued. Metropolitan Police have launched an investigation following the allegations. They have also urged other victims to come forward. A Downing Street spokesperson also issued a statement following the allegations. "These are very serious and concerning allegations. The Met Police has asked anyone who believes they have been a victim of a sexual assault to come forward to speak to officers," they stated.
