The singer who revealed she had been diagnosed with stiff-person syndrome late last year attended a NHL game in Las Vegas.
After watching the Vegas Golden Knights and the Montreal Canadiens do battle at the T-Mobile Arena she went back to the dressing room to meet some of her home town team.
Though the guys lost the game, Celine appeared to be in good spirits as she was joined by her son René-Charles, 22, and twins, Eddy and Nelson, 13.
In a video shared by the team, the singer could be seen standing around with some of the players, joking and laughing with head coach Martin St-Louis.
The coach tells Celine he remembers when she sang for Pope John Paul II when he visited Canada in 1984.
"Well it's been a while since then, eh?" she responds in French, "We've changed a little bit since then, but not too much."
The Canadiens' vice president of communications shared photos alongside Celine to Instagram with the singer's arm around her.
"We had a beautiful visit at the game in Vegas yesterday. Thanks, @celinedion for your generosity. The whole team is so happy to have met you and your family," she wrote in French alongside the snaps.
Celine revealed her diagnosis stiff-person syndrome to her fans in October 2021 when she was forced to delay her Las Vegas shows.
She then cancelled the North America leg of her tour in January, earlier this year. The singer suffers with symptoms that include muscle spasms, muscle rigidity and frequent falls, which can be caused due to lack of coordination.
