Britney Spears is allegedly considering a sit-down TV tell-all ahead of the release of her memoir, The Woman In Me. The singer's book is scheduled to hit shelves on October 24th, meaning any potential TV appearance ahead of the release would be soon. A source told The U.S. Sun that she reportedly had four weeks to decide if she would sit down for her first TV interview since being released from her conservatorship on November 12th, 2021. It's also speculated that many big TV networks and streaming services have put money down bidding to secure Britney's first tell-all interview, with none other than Oprah Winfrey, 69, in the running. When the Toxic singer, 41, was first released from her conservatorship in 2021, Oprah's representatives had reportedly reached out to the star's spokespeople. However, the offer was declined as Britney was "still coming to terms with independent life and mentally processing her freedom," the source told the publication. While this source, who is apparently close to the popstar, sings one tune, another told the publication that they don't believe she will have a television special anytime soon, despite being "in a different place" mentally. "The [interview] proposal remains complicated for Britney who continues to face challenges speaking to strangers at length about intimate aspects of her life," the second source explained. They added that Britney's trauma is still prevalent to this day since the conservatorship. This, they say, can periodically trigger the Oops! I Did It Again singer to "behave unusually or even erratically." However, the source believes a feature-style interview would suit her more than a news-style one. "A move like that, to work with a production company or someone like Oprah, would be her strongest play, but the reality is managing Britney's mental well-being and health in the process," they stressed. Numerous topics about the singer's life are said to be addressed in her upcoming memoir. This includes talking about everything from her parents' control, her relationship with Justin Timberlake, motherhood and divorce, and the backstory behind her mental illness and conservatorship. However, Britney has not confirmed herself that these will be discussed, and has not yet revealed to her own family what the content of The Woman In Me will include. Whether we have to wait for the release of her book or get a TV tell-all, we can wait for Brit to finally share her side of the story.
