Disney has confirmed The Princess Diaries 3 but the Modern Love star hasn't officially signed up for it just yet.
As excited as she is about the film, Hathaway said she hopes Julie Andrews will be involved.
She told Entertainment Tonight, "If there’s any way to get Julie Andrews involved, I think we would make it work. We would go to where she was and put a green screen behind her and just make it happen.”
The Princess Diaries aired in 2001. The movie is based on the book series by Meg Cabot.
