The 'Strictly Come Dancing' star has kept her followers updated throughout her entire breast cancer journey.

The social media personality has always kept her fans in the loop throughout her illness in the hopes of it helping others.

Now Amy is seeking help from her followers as she has asked for suggestions on red light therapy devices.

"Has anyone used red light therapy devices after chemo for hair growth? Did it help?" Thee 33-year-old asked on her Instagram story.

"Really getting down and wanting my hair back so much! Any advice or help would be so appreciated," adding a prayer emoji, a pink love heart, and a pink bow - widely known as the symbol for brining awareness to breast cancer.

Amy recently rang the bell after completing her final round of chemotherapy and took the opportunity to express her gratitude for the moment, as well as candidly opening up about her hair loss insecurity.

"I hate looking in the mirror at the moment but I know this is a small price to pay and ‘this too shall pass'."

Earlier this year, Amy made the decision to share her truth and forego a wig while appearing on 'Strictly Come Dancing' as a way to 'bring normality to a beautiful bald head'.

Fans of the dancer have praised her positive attitude towards her cancer and hair loss from chemo, labelling her as 'brave' and a 'role model'.

"Amy Dowden choosing not to wear a wig on #Strictly tonight has just shown every little girl going through chemo that bald is beautiful. What a role model," one viewer wrote.

Sharing this message of praise, the 33-year-old wrote: "There are no words to describe the pure joy and happiness I felt last night being back with my @bbcstrictly family. It is their love and support that gave me the courage to decide last minute to step out and brave the bald.

"It’s messages like the above which is why I use my platform to raise awareness and hopefully give others confidence #baldisbeautful. Not saying it was easy and I still miss my long hair dearly but gosh did it feel liberating and it’s breast cancer awareness month which gave me that extra push to do it."

The dancer will, unfortunately, not be returning to the ballroom of 'Strictly Come Dancing' this year as she shared that she had fractured her foot just days after her final round of chemotherapy, which left her 'gutted' and 'heartbroken'.
