Over the years, there have been a lot of powerful life stories told on America's Got Talent and this is no exception.
11-year-old Tyler- Butler Figueroa took to the famous stage to perform for the judges and told those watching that he started playing music because he didn't just want to be known as the kid with cancer.
Tyler's inspiring story wasn't the only thing that tugged at the audience and judges heartstrings as he gave an amazing rendition of Kelly Clarkson's Stronger.
The young boy from North Carolina said that he was diagnosed with cancer at the age of four and had to deal with years of bullying.
"I just didn't want to be the kid with cancer, so now, I'm the kid who plays violin."
Now in remission the 11-year-old hopes to inspire other children dealing with cancer and other chronic illnesses.
Tyler's talent didn't go unnoticed and earned him Simon Cowell's golden buzzer sending him straight through to the live show in Hollywood.
