Ant and Dec have announced they are releasing a new book together.

The presenters released their first autobiography, Ooh! What a Lovely Pair, in 2009. In September this year, they will be following it up with Ant & Dec: Once Upon A Tyne. The duo took to Instagram on Wednesday [April 1] to share a video announcing the new book, which they captioned:

"A bit of news from our lockdowns to yours… this year we’ll have been working together for 30 years (blimey!) and we’re writing a book to mark the anniversary. Stories from our time on the telly (and that brief period of time when we were basically 90s pop sensations!) "Excited for you to have a flick through… less excited for you to see the photos we’re including, but we accidentally promised we’d put them in and there’s no backing out of that now!"

"We've got a book coming out to celebrate 30 years of working together on the telly," Ant said in the video. "It's full of backstage stories and gossip of our 30 years working together and it's very good isn't it Dec?" "Yes it is, it's out September 3rd and you can preorder it," Dec added. "Ant and Dec hold a special place in the hearts of TV viewers everywhere. This is their epic story, with never-before-seen photography and the very best tales from their 30 years in TV," the description for the book reads. "From their modest beginnings in Byker Grove through to their "unique" time as pop stars and an award-laden TV career, those three decades have flown by in the blink of an eye. They've also featured an incredible cast of supporting characters, including their first scriptwriter (an unknown comedian called David Walliams), Saturday night fun and games with countless Hollywood A-listers, and celebrities they torture - sorry, work with - every year in the jungle. Told through the lens of every TV show they've made, as well as everything they've learnt along the way, this is the riotously funny journey of two ordinary lads from Newcastle who went on to achieve extraordinary things."
