If you're looking for a book to keep you company on your next sun holiday or during a sunny day in the park, then there are some pretty excellent options in the May Kindle sale.
I've picked out the six best books available for €1.15, including a personal favourite of Taylor Swift's.
The Wedding People by Alison Espach
One of the most-talked-about books of the moment. I feel like everyone has been raving about The Wedding People, and it certainly lives up to the hype. A novel about love, friendship, dysfunctional families, and the unexpected paths that lead to happiness.

The Bee Sting by Paul Murray
The Barnes family is in trouble. Until recently, they ran the biggest business in town; now they’re teetering on the brink of bankruptcy – and that’s just the start of their problems. Dickie and Imelda’s marriage is hanging by a thread; straight-A student Cass is careening off the rails; PJ is hopelessly in debt to the school bully.
Meanwhile, the ghosts of old mistakes are rising out of the past to meet them, but everyone’s too wrapped up in the present to see the danger looming.

Writers & Lovers by Lily King
You can never go wrong with a Lily King novel. She has got to be one of the finest contemporary fiction writers of our time, and this is a book you can't miss out on.
Casey is lost. She is mourning the death of her mother, the novel she has been writing for six years isn’t going anywhere, and her debt is soaring. Surely at thirty-one, when all her friends are getting married and having kids, she is too old for things to be this way.
Then she meets Silas. He is kind, handsome, and interested. But only a few weeks later, Oscar – older, fascinating, complicated – walks into her life, his two boys in tow. Suddenly, Casey finds herself at the point of a love triangle, torn between two very different futures.
