As always, we were glued to the couch for the first episode of the new season of The Apprentice this week. But, while the big personalities, the clashes and Sir Alan’s sharp tongue made for entertaining viewing; it was Alex’s eyebrows that truly stole the show.
Giving plenty of fodder to Dara O’Briain for ‘You’re Fired’, Alex’s ‘unique’ look were a hot topic on Twitter too.
A timely reminder, perhaps, that eyebrow grooming is not just for the ladies, and it’s important to get it right. In fact, you never notice just how much of a difference eyebrows make until they go wrong. Or disappear – have you seen the hilarious snaps of celebs without eyebrows? Case in point.
We did a little digging and found a great tip for men who want to tame those unruly brows, without looking completely over-groomed. Ahem, Alex. The key is subtle touches.
Elaine McPartland from Up to My Eyes, told us how she had travelled to travelled to Hong King to get the latest innovation in brow grooming. 'Embrowdery' creates the perfect brow shape for men or women without looking fake or obvious.
Embrowdery and uses fine strokes that penetrate into the skin for a hair-like finish leaving a completely natural appearance that is available in a wide variety of shades. New nano technology is used in the pigment which allows the colour to stay in place and, unlike other brow techniques, Embrowdery only penetrates the very top layer of the skin so there is no need for a tattoo machine, or loud vibrating needles.

It’s a no-pain procedure that will take 2-3 sessions with a therapist, after which results will eventually wear away with exfoliation over two years, so though you get the benefits of long-term results, you don’t have to worry about making a permanent change to your look!
Embrowdery is exclusively available at Up To My Eyes, Greystones, Co, Wicklow.
