Again? Really?

According to new reports, Apple will change the charging lead for the new iPhone yet again and this time it'll be different to the previous two. The tech giant is supposedly making the new charger similar to that of the iPad Pro, adopting a USB-C charging port instead of the one that's currently available in models starting from the iPhone 5. And as many Apple users tend to stick to Apple products, if you upgrade to the new iPhone this year, it'll make your previous leads and potentially, your earphones useless. The incoming reports suggest that Apple could also be trying to rival Samsung with the switch to a C port following their first switch for the iPad Pro last year. But as the new port is still being created, it's possible that it could miss the 2019 iPhone and wait for release alongside the iPhone in 2020. The first iPhone charger was a 30 pin dock connector, lasting for five years before the new Lightning charger came along with the iPhone 5; the same charger which is still being used today for the newest models of iPhone, almost seven years on. Is it time for an upgrade?
