Primark have announced they’ll be opening seven stores in the US, after finalising a leasing agreement with US department store Sears.
According to RTE, the first Penneys will open in Philadelphia next year, with six more stores set to open along the Northeastern coast in the next 12-18 months.
No need to pack a back-up wardrobe before you start buying - it seems you'll shortly be able to pick up all the basics when you get there - leaving more room in the case for ACTUAL shopping.
New York shopping addicts will also be able to stroll through the familiar aisles when the store opens at the Staten Island Mall in New York in 2016.
Primark’s Boston location is currently under renovation for the launch in late 2015, with the store aiming to employ 500 people. The downtown location at Millenium Tower is hoping to attract local colleges and universities, with more than 30 campuses in the area.
The 70,000 sq foot Boston location for Penneys is currently under construction.
As for the Irish fashion lovers living in Canada? It is believe that Sears Canada may strike a similar leasing deal with retail giant Primark in a bid to raise more cash for the troubled company.
