Oooh, how gorgeous?

Now that the temperatures are on the way back up, we have found ourselves casting an eye towards the new season pieces landing in stores. And while we don't want to spend our whole paycheque on a new wardrobe, there are some things that we just can't say no to. A particular item we've found ourselves drawn to over the last few weeks is the midi skirt. They're stylish and super flattering. Plus, they're a great alternative if you're not quite ready to pack away the tights just yet (and when the weather can be a bit unpredictable). New Look have been on the top of their game lately, and the latest piece to catch our eye - their spotted-print, side-split midi skirt - is no exception. It costs just €24.99 and comes in two different colours: a gorgeous light green and a summer-y light pink. New Look recommend pairing the skirt with "a slogan vest and flatforms for a cool finish." We love the idea of pairing it with a camisole and a pair of ankle boots for a night out. Or maybe with a plain tee, an oversized denim jacket and trainers  for a comfy-but-stylish weekend look. Plus, it would be a gorgeous summer-y piece to take you from desk-to-drinks over the next few months. And this pink tropical tiered midi-dress (also from New Look) is giving us some serious vacation vibes. It costs €22.49 and we could easily see this becoming our new go-to on our summer vacation this year. It would be a gorgeous beach coverup, or the perfect option to wear for exploring the city. It would even work as a comfy-but-cute option if you're planning on traveling long-haul.
