Grace Kelly started the trend with the gorgeous 'Kelly' bag
The 'It bag' phenomenon exploded in the late nineties and continued into the noughties with bags such as the Fendi Bageutte, Chloé Paddington and Balenciaga Motorcycle becoming must haves.

Due to the fact that many celebrities have been photographed with them, these bags have achieved somewhat of a cult status.
The expensive prices of such bags was (and is) an issue for many, and for a time, it was decreed that the bag had had its moment and it was time for fashion to make a change.
However, with brands such as Mulberry producing iconic items such as the Willow, Bayswater and Dorset, it seems there is still appetite for a classic accessory produced with luxurious high-quality materials.

A beautiful bag can transform a simple outfit into a thing for wonder, team a leather tote with your t-shirt and jeans for casual chic with little effort.
