Black leather is out and brown is in, and we're so here for it. Whether it's a biker or a bomber, it's not worth investing in this season unless it's brown leather.
Brown leather coats have been a staple on the F/W 23 runway and are now appearing on the high street as they get ready for the upcoming season – not to mention this trend has come and gone over the years, so you're bound to get lucky in a charity shop or on Depop.

While we may have just said brown leather is the way to go, black is acceptable this season if it comes in the form of crocodile print.
Adding a print like this can be a tricky one, but crocodile gives that look of luxury we desire. Think the Yves Saint Laurent Cassandra bag but in jacket form – who wouldn't want that?

Take it from someone who has been wearing a woollen trench coat for years, these are one of the best investments you'll ever make.

Definitely the more out there of the coats this season but embellished biker jackets? I literally can't not have one.
Long biker jackets are one thing, but adding a funky pattern to them only catches everyone's eye so much more – whether it's studded, embroidered or just printed in an alternative design.
