If you're looking to add a few bits to you wardrobe this summer, but you're keen to go about it the sustainable way, then look no further than the Useless Project Flea Market, which is taking place in The Workman's Club this weekend. Run by the hugely popular Instagram account, The Useless Project, the goal of the market is to champion the "sustainable fashion movement" as well as "the incredible community who make it what it is". The market runs from 11am until 5pm tomorrow Saturday 18 September, and if you love a cheeky bargain, then this one is for you. For many in the community, the Covid-19 pandemic has seen them unable to sell for the past year and a half. It's also worth noting that the event will be entirely compliant with current Covid-19 restrictions. While it is free to enter, numbers will be somewhat more limited compared to the flea markets of times gone by. The Useless Project kindly ask attendees to wear masks throughout their time at the sustainable flea and to have the HSE Covid tracker downloaded. Additionally, in the interests of fairness, there will be a 45 minute time limit in place - the perfect amount of time to shop around and make your selection.
