Why? Well, the oversized puffer jacket has double padding inside and a detachable blanket which can be zipped right off. Aka it's a sleeping-bag coat.
Genius!
However, the reservations we had largely involved the rather steep price: the head-turning outerwear was retailing at a cool €242.
No more! Yes, River Island on Saturday kicked-off its winter sale and we're delighted to see that the sleeping-bag coat has been marked down by 55 percent - and is currently being sold for wholly-reasonable €110.
