We have a lot of time for Rachel McAdams for a number of reasons: she comes across as a really sweet and genuine girl, we loved to hate her as Regina in Mean Girls and we pretty much wanted to be Allie in The Notebook (largely because of her on-screen other half Ryan Gosling).
The 35-year-old actress is on the cover of the August issue of
Allure magazine and it looks as though she's not wearing any make-up, or very little anyway.
It marks the star's first cover shoot in two years and the shot was released yesterday, the same day it was reported that Mr Gosling (Rachel's ex) and Eva Mendes are expecting a baby together.
We were hoping for a Rachel and Ryan reconciliation at some stage but it doesn't look too likely... SOB.
