If you’re a fan of New Girl star Zooey Deschanel, you’ll love this news.
The quirky star has paired up with All-American designer Tommy Hilfiger for a new capsule collection, titled “To Tommy, From Zooey”.
The collection of dresses and accessories designed by the actress and musician will be available beginning April 2014 on
tommy.com and in select
Tommy Hilfiger stores in North America, Europe, Mexico and Japan.
“Working with Tommy on this capsule collection has been really amazing,” said Zooey. “I am a fashion fanatic and always looking for new ways to incorporate vintage, feminine pieces into my own wardrobe. Tommy and I share many of the same inspirations—old school music, classic films and old Hollywood icons—and his guidance during the design process helped to put a really unique twist on each piece.”
Typically for the design house, the palette for the collection is red, white and blue, with cute pops of print hidden in pleats, sweet shirtdresses and nautical touches.
“Each piece is original and fun,” said Hilfiger. “The collection is the perfect fusion of Zooey’s adventurous style and the classic, cool, American spirit at the heart of the
Tommy Hilfiger brand.”
Zooey will appear in an upcoming dedicated advertising campaign in celebration of the collection.
The “To Tommy, From Zooey” collection includes a total of 16 dresses that are expected to retail at range in price from $98 to $199, (€72 to €146).
Zooey wore Tommy Hilfiger to the Costume Institute Gala for the "PUNK: Chaos to Couture" exhibition last May
