Getting a ladder in your tights can ruin your entire day.

And it does. Always. It happens so easily too - you could literally be sitting at your desk or walking down the street or engaging in a brawl with some lad over the last vegan donut for sale in some hipster cafe and boom - ladder in the tights. It's not fun, it's not fair, and it shouldn't happen. We, as a nation, deserve better. And we may be about to get it too. An American company called Sheerly Genius (get it?) have invented tights that are apparently "indestructible." According to their website, the tights are “rip-proof, snag-proof, life-proof”- and seeing as they're made from ballistic grade fibres that are apparently 10 times stronger than steel, we're going to go ahead and say that sounds about right. Sheerly Genius are calling their creation "the ultimate life hack." They said:

"Our pantyhose have been designed using a complex system of knitting techniques, ensuring a run-resistant pantyhose look, always. So your clear nail polish can stay in the clear. "Our fibres are not only some of the strongest and most durable in the world, but they are also non-toxic, naturally anti-bacterial, and soft to the touch - making them ridiculously comfortable. "These pantyhose are expertly crafted, with reinforced seams and an invisible waistband. They are designed to look great on any body type."

Sounds good to us. ... So where's the catch? Well, you can't actually buy the Sheerly Genius tights just yet. They're being crowdsourced which means that a target has to be met before any purchases can be made, and even though the guys over there have already surpassed their goal, there's still 46 days left on the funding programme. Never fear though because you can pre-order these indestructible tights for just $79 or about €64.50. Top of the waitlist will receive their tights around autumn this year so you'd wanna get a move on if you're planning on securing a pair of these lads.
