Another day, another awards ceremony.  Tis the season after all, for celebrities to shower love on each other for their acting skills, musical prowess and red carpet style. Most of the leading lights in the British fashpack were sitting pretty at One Embankment in London last night for the annual Elle Style Awards. Swapping the full-length gowns of the BAFTAs for more daring styles, this red carpet was a lot more interesting than most awards ceremonies... but that's not to say it was a prettier sight. While Rita Ora looked knockout in Marchesa and supermodel Erin O'Connor showcased pregnancy style with her trademark class and elegance, there were far more hits than misses. Jessie J's cut-out pink dress and thigh-high lace-up boots fell on the wrong side of costume, as did Ellie Goulding's jumpsuit. Samantha Barks, Gwendoline Christie, Lily Allen and Kylie Minogue all looked nice, if a little boring, opting for all-black looks. Irish export Laura Whitmore gave one of last season's best style buys, a pink coat, another outing, while Sherlock star Lara Pulver was one of the very few who opted for print.
