Ice, Ice, Baby…
Project Runway Alumnus Christian Siriano turned his New York Fashion Week show into an icy wonderland on Saturday. In a show inspired by the works of Australian sculptor Sergio Redegalli, Siriano concentrated on whites and pale seafoam greens in sheer fabrics, adorned with crystals.
He described his client as "not so much an easy, breezy, downtown cool girl. She's a little more elevated."
Siriano’s construction was, as always, a big talking point, with full skirts and dropped waists a common feature in the collection.
The 28-year-old became the youngest ever winner of Project Runway when he took part in season four of the show back in 2007. Since then he has dressed Victoria Beckham, Sarah Jessica Parker, Taylor Swift and Heidi Klum,
