It's another one to add to the Christmas wish list...
Designer Chloe Townsend of jewellery brand Willow & Clo has just released her new collection, and it's something rather special.
Based on the early Irish alphabetic inscriptions on stone monuments, the
Ogham collection includes a line of five stunning pieces, each available in both gold and rose gold.
According to the designer, two Ogham phrases have been of particular inspiration: ‘Alive like fire’ and ‘Wise and Pure,’ with the collection themed on these sayings.
“Jewellery is a wonderful gift to receive at any time of year, especially Christmas. What I want for my customers when they get a piece of Willow & Clo Jewellery is the connection and the story the piece tells. This idea of storytelling has really inspired my new ‘Ogham’ collection. The Ogham inscriptions are essentially stories that have been in existence for thousands of years and represent an important and special part of our heritage. For me, jewellery is so wonderful because it can create such sentimental memories and stories. This is really integral to Willow & Clo and it’s why I think jewellery is such a special gift.”
Award-winning designer Townsend has recently announced plans to open the doors of her Wicklow St. studio for the Christmas period so customers can come in and browse the collections as well as meeting the woman behind them.

Willow & Clo Atelier is located on the third floor on 29 Wicklow St, and will be open Tuesday to Saturday, 11.30am-6.30pm, and Thursdays 12pm – 7pm.
