Ooh, how GORGEOUS is this?

The midi skirt has been one of our favourite transitional pieces over the last few weeks. They're stylish, super flattering and also a great alternative when we're absolutely sick to death of wearing tights (which also makes them the perfect piece during this time of year, really - especially given the kind of weather we've been having lately). One of the ones to catch our eye recently is this €49 polka-dot wrap skirt from M&S - which we just know is going to be be one of those pieces we'll be reaching for again and again this spring. And, really, it would last you into the summer (and early autumn, too). The retailer said:

"With a striking polka dot print and wonderfully floaty fit, this women’s midi skirt is an elegant piece that’s great for both evening and daytime wear. "We love this polka dot skirt teamed with a crisp white blouse or top for a subtle yet effective style statement."

It is smart enough you could wear it to the office, but still casual enough that it'll do you for drinks in the evening too. However, we reckon it would look equally as good with a white tee, a pair of slide-ons and a denim jacket or a big cosy jumper thrown on top (if the weather becomes a bit cooler again). If not, how about pairing it with a cami and ankle boots - and maybe a biker-style jacket - for a night one? Either way, we know this is going to be one of those pieces that will become one of our wardrobe staples this season.
