Autumn is starting to settle in - and if we're being honest, we're kind of excited about it. It's not that we're wishing away the remainder of the good weather; in fact, we're very grateful to the weather gods for how gloriously warm this summer has been. But we'll admit it: we cannot wait to break out our cosy autumn-winter wardrobes again (especially given the weather of the last few days). And with our excitement for layering season, we have been keeping an eye out for the perfect pieces that will see our wardrobe into the season ahead. This €46 skirt from Topshop definitely checks a load of those boxes for us - and it comes in two different colours, too. The pleated side-button midi skirt comes in pink animal print, as well as an orange and red floral print - each of which would be stunning for the autumn weeks ahead. While the weather is still warm enough, we reckon this would look amazing with a slogan tee and trainers - or maybe a pair of cute ankle-boots. Or you could pair it with a plain tee or cami, a biker-style jacket and heels for a night out. And it is definitely smart enough that it could easily take you from desk-to-drinks over the next few months. Either way, it's one of those pieces we can see ourselves reaching for again and again in the weeks ahead.
