I first spotted this top when scrolling through the 'Just Arrived' section on the River Island website, a favourite hobby of mine I'll admit. Although of course, I don't search one shop, no I have to check all the popular high-street stores. On the regular. Anyway, the White Frill Hook and Eye Bralet went straight on my virtual wishlist because it's just so pretty and the price (€35) isn't too bad either. However, I do have more than a few white tops and so I wasn't sure about purchasing it until I noticed that a) it was selling very fast, b) it would be the perfect top for a high-waisted skirt I've had for ages but never wore and c) it's becoming very popular on Instagram. The River Island Style Studios gals tend to showcase some of their favourite must-haves and it's no major surprise that this top made an appearance. If you want it I'd suggest acting fast because 'pretty white tops at affordable prices' tend to sell out super fast in summer and this one is definitely a winner, I just love the hook and eye detail and the delicate straps too. It's so versatile too as it will work with jeans and sandals for a casual look or as mentioned above, it's the perfect piece to team with a statement skirt so it's not too dressy. Love, love, love.
