Oooh, we adore this.

One of our favourite trends from spring/summer 2018 was the button-down linen dress. It was the versatile piece that you could wear from desk to drinks; on vacation to out for brunch with your pals. Basically, it was our wardrobe go-to once the weather started to warm up. And, after it was all over the high street last year, many retailers have begun to release their take on the trend for this year. One of the latest versions to catch our eye is this colourful striped version from New Look. It costs just €34.99 - and comes in two different colours: a multi-colour striped one and a blue-and-pink striped one. The midi-length means it's not only super flattering, but also can work now if (like us) you're sick to death of wearing tights. The retailer recommends pairing it with sandals for a "fail-safe daytime look" - although we reckon it would look adorable with a pair of white trainers and a denim jacket, or a biker-style jacket and ankle boots. It is definitely smart enough you could wear it to the office, but still casual enough that it'll do you for drinks in the evening too. Another New Look piece we are loving lately is this off white stripe tiered wrap dress from, which we know would add a much-welcomed splash of to our spring wardrobe. At €34.99, it is one of those pieces we reckon we would get so much wear out of. It's the perfect dress to go from desk-to-drinks, paired with a pair of ankle boots and a biker-style jacket. And it is a definite must-pack for any summer vacation this year.
