The summer is well and truly here and while the weather may not always be in our favour, we are definitely feeling the heat. Hopefully the sun reappears soon, and when it does, we know exactly what you should be wearing this season. From outdoor dining to staycations, we need to be fashion ready this summer, but a lot of the time, dresses just aren't the go-to for some people. We've gathered a few of our favourite shorts this season, and different ways to style them no matter what the occasion is. So whether you're sipping on cocktails at a rooftop bar or sunbathing along the coast, there's something for everyone here. Crochet shorts We know what you're thinking but bare with us, they're a lot better than you'd imagine. Crochet shorts have taken over our Pinterest feed and they're the perfect go to for a day at the beach turned cheeky cocktails after. You can even make it a set and grab a matching top, cute right? Bermuda shorts If you're looking for something a bit more dressy but still want to keep it casual, this is the one for you. You can't go anywhere without seeing someone in a pair of bermuda shorts, and there's a reason for it too, they're absolutely gorgeous. Dress them up or keep them casual, it's entirely up to you, but one thing is for sure, you'll look class regardless. Towel shorts Yes, this one might be a little far fetched but they're so pretty that you'll forget all about the fact that the material is like something you'd wear to the beach in the early 2000s. From cute one pieces to shorts alone, these are ideal for that staycation daytime adventure, you'll be so comfortable and look amazing. Think of the pictures at the Cliffs of Moher in these bad boys? Basketball shorts Another that's perfect for any day trip but will also keep you looking so on trend is basketball shorts. Now we don't mean real ones, but the cute ones fashion brands have brought out inspired by the real ones. Any everywhere has them, Nike, Bershka, Asos, you won't be looking long before find a pair that works for you. Suit shorts  Now for something a little bit more glamorous, suit shorts. Tailoring is so in fashion right now and it's not going anywhere anytime soon. Suit trousers can get heavy in the heat and while they are flowy, sometimes you do just want to cut the ends off. Runways everywhere are introducing these shorts, but the high street are always quick to catch up and you won't be looking far for a pair of these.
