If you adore the vintage trend but don’t have a clue where to start when it comes to getting the look, this one’s for you…
Say hello to ‘Decade Darlings’, a fully styled, vintage make over and photo shoot experience that’s guaranteed to leave you and your besties feeling utterly fabulous after a fun day out. Based in Dublin, lifelong friends Lia Tallon and Niamh Joyce have combined creative flare, styling & client focus to deliver this unique idea to women who want to get their friends together for something quirky and fun.
Using the 1950’s as their main inspiration, Lia & Niamh have put together a four hour experience for groups of up to eight ladies. ‘We really love 1950’s style, it celebrated curves and natural beauty and the hair was always so imaginative and fun’ says Niamh, whose sales and marketing background both at home & abroad has helped to shape the commercial viability of the idea.
With bubbles on arrival, professional hair styling and make-up, access to a beautiful vintage wardrobe, this experience truly is one of a kind. Speaking on the new venture, Lia who has a wealth of experience in styling through her many years in fashion retail said “Our aim is to make all our clients feel like real life movie stars, creating a one off experience complete with gorgeous photos that they’ll treasure forever”.

The complete package costs €160 per person giving you perfectly polished hair and make-up, four professionally styled & retouched photos of your choice not to mention an unforgettable experience and fun memories. There are also some fantastic add ons that include a behind the scenes video of your experience, manicures, cupcakes & sweet treats.
We at Her.ie are in love with the idea, and we’re very tempted to get a team photoshoot done. Our computers might look ever so slightly out of place with the 1950s style though…
