Johnny Coca will take up his position at the helm of Mulberry in July 2015
The announcement today brings to an end some intense fashion speculation, with names like Roland Mouret and Galliano linked with the post over the past year or so.
Previous to his hugely successful stint at Céline, Coca also worked at Louis Vuitton.
Godfrey Davis, Mulberry chairman and CEO, said today: “We are delighted that Johnny is joining us. He has a wealth of international luxury and fashion experience that will help us bring new energy and innovation to Mulberry.”
