If you were born at the end of the 90s or the early 2000s, you definitely had a Bratz doll or two. They took over any Gen-Z girl's life and the sheer obsession with these fashionistas was something unheard of before.
With Barbie making her very welcome return to the fashion world thanks to the critically acclaimed film, the trends are certainly insinuating that we're moving more towards Bratz's style for the next season.

Barbie star Dua Lipa, the singer has had yet another major fashion moment but this time, she donned the highest Y2K heels-style heels we've ever seen.
Captioning the post on Instagram with "the higher the heel the closer to god", there was only one thing we could think of when we saw the shoes – these look exactly like something a Bratz doll would wear and we're so here for it.
Channeling their iconic 2000s style, Dua paired the shoes with a teeny black and grey flowered playsuit, black sunnies, and silver dangly earrings.
Of course, we were overly obsessed with the look but Dua isn't the only singer to make these insanely high platforms a thing.

Wearing different variations of them on her own tour as well as supporting Taylor Swift on her Eras Tour, Sabrina is taking the Bratz look to a whole new level.
The shoes first reemerged on the scene after Versace introduced the Aevitas platform pumps in 2021 and soon enough, there wasn't a place on the high street that didn't sell their own version – heck, Ariana Grande couldn't take them off and even Donatella Versace wore them to close her FW23 show in California.
