"Kind shoppers agree that no jumper or scarf is worth kicking, punching, and killing gentle sheep on the shearing floor, and we're urging other retailers to follow boohoo's forward-thinking example".Boohoo's decision comes after years of campaigning from PETA who previously stated that the wool industry has caused the environment serious harm and "havoc". It will be interesting to see if the retailer's decision to remove wool from their products influences other brands to follow suit and if so, what changes will we see in the fashion industry? Veganism is on the rise and with environmentally-conscious movements multiplying by the day, it is likely that we'll see more companies make ethically focused decisions.
