With winter well and truly upon us (seriously, how freezing is it out there today?), it's time to get the cold-weather bits out of the wardrobe. The trusty black ankle boot is an absolute must for this time of year - it'll go with everything and keep your feet warm and comfy no matter where you're off to. If you're in the market for something that looks designer but won't break the bank, you won't go too far wrong with these Boohoo boots. The faux-suede finish, slim straps and gold hardware all make these a little bit special and give them a high-end feel. Unsurprisingly, the boots 100 per cent designer-inspired - check out the Valentino Rockstud boots for a comparison. Spot the difference - they're pretty much the same except for a tiny bit of a difference in the heel height. That studded detailing on the straps is classic Valentino - the brand uses the design in many of its shoes, like these heels. The Valentino boots are pricey enough at €890, so we reckon we'll stick with the budget option. Boohoo's version are currently down to €32 from €38; over 27 times cheaper than the high-end ones.
