I've always been a fan of Aran knit jumpers.
Years ago on a trip up to Donegal I went into this tiny little rickety shop and bought an Aran knit that I still wear every winter. There's something about them that's so effortlessly cool - and you are guaranteed they will never go out of style.
However, the Aran jumper has now been blasted into the mainstream by Chris Evans after he wore one in the new movie
Knives Out.
The item of clothing is now seen as sexy and alluring and everyone wants one.
Sure, just look at the Garrihy sisters, Doireann and Aoibhin as well as a friend, Serena, who acted as bridesmaids for Ailbhe Garrihy's wedding. They went completely outside of the box and wore Aran jumpers with skirts as their bridesmaids outfits.
They were so different that everyone went mad for the look in October.

Style it up - for women
One thing I love about an Aran knit is how versatile it can be. I love wearing mine casually with leather look trousers or jeans and a pair of Converse.
Equally, it would look just as great dressed up with a skirt, a pair of tights and boots. All you need to do is tuck the jumper into the skirt to look instantly put-together.
Style it up - for men
For the lads, you can never go wrong by teaming an Aran jumper with a pair of straight cut or skinny jeans. You can add in a borg denim jacket to really make it stand out.
