The MTV Video Music Awards, or VMAs, went on overnight and as we were tucked away in bed, Hollywood's finest took to the red carpet in all their best glamour. Hitting the red carpet, some of our favourite celebrities looked as if they were fresh off the runway, dazzled by some of the top designers. Hailey Bieber in Maison Alaïa Hailey Bieber is fast becoming a fashion icon, and this simple but elegant Maison Alaïa dress is only adding to this. The sheerness gave her a more sexy edge, a clear theme for this year's VMAs, and the high neckline only gave way for the perfect summer to autumn transitional dress. The lace hugged her figure while the slit at the top gave more of a risque aspect to the dress, something we can definitely get behind. Normani in Patryc Japagas Going in a completely different direction, Normani opted for this Patryc Japagas number and she looked like a complete goddess. Tailoring with a twist, this is one look we're going to be trying to get our hands on for once the nightclubs reopen. Saweetie in Valentino If this isn't golden Hollywood glam in a modern era, we don't know what is. Saweetie looked simply beautiful in this metallic Valentino dress, the texture, the colour, the cut, it was completely to die for. Olivia Rodrigo in Versace Olivia Rodrigo has had quite the year, and she just shut down the VMA red carpet. The 18 year old wowed in this Versace dress, with the corset and mesh mix really screaming elegance and grace, but showing her fun spirit with the bright colours. Shay Mitchell She may not have been able to sit in it but Shay Mitchell's dress spoke for itself with an artsy print and stiff leather material, she simply looked effortless. Megan Fox in Mugler If anyone could have pulled off this dress, it was Megan Fox. The sheer material made her look glowing with the splash of glitter and sparkles adding to the pizzazz.
