The first dance is one of the most romantic parts of the wedding and that is down to the significant song you choose.

The Knot has revealed the most popular first dance song of all time and you'll be surprised to hear it isn't Perfect by Ed Sheeran.

The singer-songwriter was knocked off the top spot by Elvis Presley

Can't Help Falling in Love was the top song for newlyweds but many opted for covers rather than the original version.

Others included Lover by Taylor Swift and At Last by Etta James.

Her readers recently told us about their first dance song choices with many admitting it's one decision they've already made.

Some said they're not even engaged but knew what song they wanted to dance to on their big day.

One reader said, "I'm not anywhere near getting married but 1,000 Kisses by Luther Vandross."

One did admit she was married but didn't bother having a first dance.

"We didn't have a traditional wedding and we also don't like people looking at us," another shared.
