Bizarre or a cute idea?

One bride has been seriously trying to think outside the box when it comes to ways to make her day stand out from the rest. And it's not an easy task, with endless wedding ideas on Pinterest, it can be sometimes tricky to think of just one thing that'll make your day different, but trying too hard can potentially ruin it all, as one Reddit user highlighted in response to this woman's Facebook post which outlined her wedding idea.

Posted to Reddit, here's what it said:

"Since both [husband] and I are mathematicians, our wedding (which is coming up so soon!) will be perfused with mathematical tidbits. "At dinner, guests will be required to answer a mathematical question in order to find out where they sit. “Every guest/couple will be presented with a unique, bespoke question its difficulty and subject matter drawn directly from what we know their mathematical background to be. “A very large number of our guests have research-level mathematical backgrounds, so for most of them their question has been drawn directly from their research papers or thesis."

Many readers were quick to point out that they felt the game was "insensitive" by belittling their guests to questions based on their intellectual difficulty. “Math-shaming. Don’t worry- the difficulty will be drawn DIRECTLY from the guests’ background! No offence! (My immediate RSVP would be no)", one comment read. “Potentially belittling to certain guests,” another commented. “Incorporate your passion for math in a way that won’t be frustrating or embarrassing in my opinion," While others thought it was a different but unique idea... “While it’s true that this could end up a disaster, on the surface it’s kinda cute and adorable."
