Whirlpool is offering affected consumers either a free replacement dryer, a free in-home dryer modification, a discounted upgrade, or an age-based refund.
Free-of-charge collection and disposal of an old dryer will also be offered to those availing of a replacement or upgrade.
Consumers affected by the recall should call 1800 804 320, or check their dryer's safety on www.indesithotpointsafety.com.
