Oh GREAT.
According to Met Éireann, spells of heavy rain will start in the southwest, and spread throughout the country on Wednesday before easing somewhat on Wednesday night.
It’s on Thursday that things will start to get a little scarier, with heavy and thundery showers set to arrive from the afternoon onwards, when humid conditions and temperatures of up to 19 degrees will make the air feel a little clammy.
The showers and unsettled conditions show no sign of easing up into the weekend, although it will get even warmer, with temperatures set to reach as high as 22 degrees come Saturday afternoon.
The forecast is for cooler weather with more unsettled conditions at the start of next week, although the early signs point to an improvement from the middle of next week.
So much for the traditional spell of Leaving Cert weather, eh?
