May 22nd will see Ireland take to the polls to vote whether or not same-sex couples should be allowed to marry in this country.
As campaigning gets under way from both sides of the vote, the students at Trinity College Students Union have put together a video urging younger voters to starts talking to their older relatives about the upcoming referendum.
Although the younger generation are expected to vote yes, the video starts the conversation with some of our older members of society where only time can tell which box they’ll tick on the ballot paper.
The video represents both sides of the argument, but we’re pretty moved by one father’s response to his son, vowing to stand beside him whether it’s in a church or a registry office.
If you’ve got a few minutes today, this is the video that’s worth a watch (and a message worth sharing).
