All too often we hear horror stories of homeless animals who have been abandoned and left to fend for themselves.
Unfortunately, there's not always a happy ending to these stories but every once in a while we hear one that makes us smile.
The video below introduced us to Charlie, he was brought to an animal shelter in Los Angeles with painful sores all over his head.
Staff at a grooming facility gave him a shower, cut his hair and looked after him but the transformation has to be seen to be believed.
Two days after his haircut, Charlie was adopted... we cried and smiled at this heart-warming video.
