People have been taking to social media to share pictures and videos showing the full extent of the damage caused by torrential rain and gale force winds.
YouTube user EL TURC_O shared this shocking video from Graiguenemanagh in Kilkenny from last night, and it's absolutely insane.
The video depicts water rushing through the streets of the rural village, as Defence Forces work to minimise structural damage.
