Tributes are being paid following the death of former RTÉ radio and TV presenter Simon Young. Simon, whose real name is Thomas Meade, passed away on Sunday. He started his career in pirate radio in the '70s, going on to present radio shows on 2FM, as well as various TV shows such as The Beatbox and Dempsey's Den with Ian Dempsey. The legendary DJ was originally from Glasnevin, County Dublin, but was living in Washington DC.
