Four counties will feel the impact of the latest weather warning.

Yes, if you're in Dublin, Louth, Wicklow or Meath tomorrow take note because there is going to be a LOT of rain. Met Éireann warns that "persistent showers will lead to rainfall accumulations of 25 to 35mm" which sounds ideal altogether when you're trying to get to and from work. This particular warning comes into operation tomorrow at 12 pm and is in place until Wednesday morning at the same time so that's a full 24 hours of rain we have to look forward to. Not only is it going to rain but the national forecaster also predicts that it will be a "noticeably colder day" with a decrease in temperatures. You can expect more of the same on Wednesday with showers in many areas although if you're in the east, that's where things will be the worst. Although the rain should clear as we head into Thursday, it's going to remain very cold so now is the time to dig out the scarves, gloves and hats. It's been a noticeably mild couple of months especially for the time of year but that all looks set to change, according to Met Éireann.

"Temperatures staying below normal, ranging from 6 to 9 degrees on Thursday and from 7 to 10 degrees on Friday. The nights will be cold, with some frost in places under clear spells".
