"We take any comments of this nature extremely seriously. Likewise, we take the welfare of our presenters and staff extremely seriously."
Al Porter is currently one of Ireland's most high-profile and in-demand presenting talents. He recently fronted Blind Date on TV3 and his arrival at Today FM earlier this year was a major coup for the station.
Presenting its lunchtime show (a slot once occupied by Dermot and Dave) Mr Porter also previously worked at 2FM.
