Television was just so much better when we were young.
There were shows like Kenan and Kel, Gilmore Girlsand more that we couldn't keep away from.
Going even further back when we were all tiny tots, shows like The Tweenies and The Teletubbieswere the focal points of the day and another such show we all adored was Postman Pat.
It comes as devastating news today that the voice of Pat himself, Ken Barrie, who voiced the character and sang the banger of the theme tune, has died.
According to ABC News, the voice actor died at the age of 73 after a battle with cancer.
The British voice actor voiced the character of Postman Pat, beginning in 1981 and continued using his skills to voice other characters in the children's TV show.
Ken voiced characters such as Reverend Peter Timms, Ted Glen and Alf Thompson, a farmer in the first season of the show.
Ken's voice brought to life the daily escapades of Pat and his cat Jess as they worked hard delivering mail around fictional town Greendale.
Ken was active in his later, as he voiced Pat for two seasons in the 90s and reprised the role of the world's favourite postman in a new adaptation of the show in 2004.
