Gardaí also confirmed that a man in his early 20s has been arrested.
A Garda spokesperson stated;
"A male, aged in his early 20s has since been arrested.
The man was arrested for an offence contrary to the Non-Fatal Offences Against the Person Act, of 1997.
"He is currently detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984."
Gardaí are calling on witnesses to come forward.
