Storm Diana is on its way to Ireland this week with rainfall and wind weather warnings being issued. Met Eireann issued the yellow rainfall warning for Munster, Dublin, Carlow, Kilkenny, Wexford, Wicklow, Galway and Mayo earlier today as well as a status yellow wind warning for Munster, Dublin, Carlow, Kilkenny, Wexford, Wicklow, Donegal, Galway, Leitrim, Mayo and Sligo. This comes as Storm Diana, named by the IPMA Portuguese weather service, threatens the Azores. The storm is due to cause "major change" to the UK's weather on Wednesday, with parts of it being felt across Ireland - although the intensity is thought to be less severe. The rain and wind weather warnings are currently in place until 2pm and 3pm on Tuesday afternoon respectively.
